We pulled up to NTB on a Monday morning. Construction all around. Dead quiet. Not a single customer in sight. One by one, employees started trickling out like they just realized it was morning.
My girlfriend had bought a $40 full warranty for a tire that was only about a month old — it had a small leak. No big deal, right?
But apparently, it was.
They circled around the tire like they were inspecting alien tech. One employee was actually about to fix it until the manager stepped in and called it unfixable. The reason? A second possible hole was “too close” — even though it was 5 inches away.
Their solution? Pay another $30 to fix the tire… that was already under warranty.
Then came the second excuse: “Tread’s too low.” Classic stall tactic.
We chucked the tire in the truck bed and bounced.
Then came the real experience.
We hit a busy used tire shop. Different vibe entirely. The place was hopping. But within seconds, a guy asked, “What can we do for you?”
They took the tire, investigated it, disassembled it, patched it up, double-checked their work, and rolled it back out in under 20 minutes — all while serving a bunch of other customers.
They charged us $15. That tire’s still going strong.
What’s wild? The first place was empty and couldn’t move. The second was slammed… and executed flawlessly.
That’s what I call essence forward — showing up like it matters.
Whether it’s tires, music, or business — people can feel your energy. They know if you care.
That’s what I’m building over at MoneyDune.club — and that’s how I work in life, business, and music. No passivity. No runaround. Just service with intent.
Some people sell service.
Others serve.
And you can feel the difference the moment you walk in.
